Scarlet macaws are one of the most magnificent birds in Belize. From December to Mid-March every year, scarlet macaws leave their nesting grounds in the Chiquibul Reserve and fly to the small Mayan village of Red Bank mainly to feed. Scarlet macaws are one of the precious species of birds in Belize known for their brilliant, red, blue and yellow plumage, long tail feather and loud, distinctive calls. This tour start with an hour scenic drive from Placencia to Red Bank, a tranquil village nestled at the foothills of the Maya Mountain, in Southern Belize. Additionally, this unique tour also offers cultural experience, where you meet the freindly locals whom are very proud to share thier heritage and stories about the area.
