Your adventure in Cockscomb Jaguar Reserve will begin with a brief safety and orientation session, ensuring you’re ready for the tubing and hike. You’ll then embark on a guided tubing journey, followed by a scenic hike through the jungle. Along the way, your guide will share fascinating insights into the wildlife, plant life, and history of the area, including its significant role as the world’s first jaguar preserve. This jungle adventure is an hour and half drive from Placencia, and it also includes a 6 miles off road drive. On our way back, we make a stop at Maya Center where you can purchase your home made ice cream, choclolate bars or traditonal mayan art!
